Vinatech announced on the 30th that it has signed a contract with a French hydrogen fuel cell system company to supply membrane electrode conjugates (MEA) worth 3.4 billion won to be applied to 160KW hydrogen fuel cell systems.

The hydrogen fuel cell system developed by the contracted company has high output characteristics and has secured excellent product competitiveness by lightening volume and weight.

By satisfying these required characteristics only, Vinatech proceeded with the sole supply of MEA. Based on this, the company expects to be actively applied to various applications such as buildings, ships, automobiles, and railroads.

"This contract will allow us to expand or market not only to automobiles but also to various applications," said Sung Do-kyung, CEO of Vinatec. "This supply contract will solidify the prospects for new projects that the two companies are currently discussing and strengthen their technological prowess and competitiveness in the global market."
