Vinatech, a company specializing in eco-friendly energy materials and parts, announced on the 26th that it has secured an 87.83% stake in Fisheries Energy, a manufacturing and selling company specializing in capacitors.

Hydroxane Energy Sol specializes in the development, production, and sale of hybrid capacitors and high-molecular polymer capacitors. Following Japan, it commercialized capacitors for the second time.

The capacitor supports a high voltage of 100V or more and is applied as a necessity in various industries, including automobile fields, intelligent robots, communication equipment, imaging equipment, and other industries.

It is expected that the capacitors of Fisheries Energy Sol will be able to expand the market scope by supplementing the characteristics of the existing super capacitors operated by Vinatech.

By expanding its product portfolio to hybrid and polymer capacitors as well as existing super capacitors, the goal is to enter the electric vehicle market, including hybrid cars.

In addition, both Vinatech and Fisheries Energy have production bases in Vietnam, which is expected to be efficient for all integration processes.

In particular, technology, production, and target markets are similar, which is expected to create synergy in responding to technology and expanding markets.

The supercapacitor market is expected to grow steeply from 2022 to 2028, with an annual average of 14.1%.

Demand is expected to increase steadily due to diversification of various industries and applications.

Vinatech acquisition of Fisheries Energy Sol is seen as a move to further expand the global position of supercapacitors based on synergy between the two companies.

An official from Vinatech said, "By combining the core technologies owned by Vinatech, which holds the largest global market share for supercapacitors, and Fisheries Energy

We will further solidify our position as a leading global capacitor company, he said. "We will work hard to expand new markets such as technology development and production facilities through synergy between the two companies."

Meanwhile, the name of Fisheries Energy Sol will be changed to 'VinaEnesol'.
